Meet Ranger Olivia at the Waterfall Trailhead in White Tank Mountain Regional Park on Tuesday, November 17, for a wildlife walk from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The roughly two-mile round trip follows mostly flat ground with some rocky patches. Bring a flashlight and water, wear closed-toe shoes and leave pets at home. The county waives its regular day-use entry fee that day. No registration is required.

The Shared Equinox Events & Markets says its markets at the Desert Diamond casino locations in Waddell and Glendale are temporarily paused until January 2027 while it finalizes licensing, casino agreements and compliance requirements. The organizer has placed the notice on both its homepage and registration page and says it is seeking alternative locations. Older weekly schedules remain below the notice, so do not rely on those times for a November visit. The notice does not give a specific January restart date.
