Owner Edgar Guerrero runs the existing Mr. Meats Carniceria & Market at 1933 E. University Drive in Mesa, where the prepared-food counter turns out tacos, burritos and carnitas. No exact address or opening date has been released, and the shop has not said whether the Phoenix store will carry the Mesa location's groceries and bakery.
