Phoenix New Times reports the Arizona Chile Festival returns for its sixth year on Sept. 4 at 4025 E. Chandler Blvd. in Ahwatukee. It is free to attend. Expect freshly roasted green chiles for sale, live music, chile tastings and contests including a tortilla toss, plus food trucks and local vendors. Pre-ordering is open for bags of chiles, roasted chiles and hot sauces.
