Lost Dutchman State Park's new Sonoran Desert Botany Hike starts Oct. 24 at 8 a.m. from the Palo Verde Day Use Ramada, with more dates through Jan. 30. It is free with paid park entry and limited to the first 12 hikers. Trails can't take strollers; leashed pets are welcome.
