Scott Conant's Roman God of Fire is open on Rio Salado in Tempe

Roman God of Fire, the newest project from Pretty Decent Concepts and chef Scott Conant, is open at 52 E. Rio Salado Parkway with woodfired Italian cooking. Copper Courier's Sept. 10 roundup of August openings lists rigatoni alla carbonara, pizza bianca and a 12-ounce New York strip on the menu. It shares the list with six other new Tempe spots, including Culinary Gangster and Urban Hip-E on Mill Avenue and Daydreamer Coffee on Apache Boulevard.
