Central School, a Mission Revival schoolhouse on the National Register of Historic Places, is being restored into a full arts and culture center at 83rd Avenue and Madison Street, with exhibit, performance and classroom space plus a new restroom/office annex. Construction started this spring and is expected to wrap by the end of October.
