Arizona Toy Con is back at the Glendale Civic Center on Saturday, August 15, running 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with VIP entrance at 9 a.m., according to organizer Arizona Toy Shows. Glendale's Movies by Moonlight series is back, turning a different city park into an outdoor theater each month. The season opens Oct. 16 at Sahuaro Ranch Park, then moves to Rose Lane Park Nov. 13, Murphy Park Dec. 11, Foothills Park South Jan. 22, Paseo Sports Complex Feb. 19 and Glendale Heroes Regional Park March 12. The city says showtimes and titles are still to come.

Westgate Entertainment District's Halloween night returns Friday, Oct. 23 from 5 to 7:30 p.m., the Glendale Independent reports. Ghosts & Goodies is free and open to the public with trick-or-treating through the district, costume contests and interactive activities. Westgate is at 9400 W. Hanna Lane.
