Before that, the Fire Department holds an open house with car seat checks 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26. The 86th Halloween Carnival lands Oct. 24, 5 to 9 p.m., and the holidays start early with Cotton Fest and the Holiday Light Launch on Nov. 28. Check the city calendar for each night's park and film.
